No longer able to get together during the Pandemic of 2020, the members of folk band; The Vitrolum Republic, each took to their homes to create independently. Rooted in their classical training and decade of improvisational acoustic performances, they found new ways of playing together by diving deep into newly discovered electronic instruments and passing digital files to one-another. The result is a evocative launch into fields of folktronica during one of the most unique times in human history. The acoustic intimacy of violins and tender vocal textures, juxtapose with the expansive presence and digitally sculpted drive of their electronic instrumentation.
